An audio / visual interactive media instrument. Built by MASARY studios, MD is an instrument for anyone to create artwork with that allows connection to others and place. The instrument is public and free to use, all you need to do is enter MD.place into your internet browser.

The Massively Distributed interface is like a music sequencer or drum machine, allowing the opportunity to create thousands of varied compositions with audio and visual samples 100% recorded from Scottsdale, AZ.

Submitted compositions were combined into each-other creating “Meta-Compositions”. The combined compositions were publicly presented at three locations with Epson video projection and professional sound systems at Canal Convergence during the light festival.
